Since 2019, Equiply has partnered with a Japanese NGO and its community factory in Siem Reap, Cambodia. SALASUSU empowers women by providing vocational training and life skills education (https://www.school.salasusu.com/).
Credit for these programs belong entirely to SALASUSU, but Equiply chose to partner them exactly because of these best practices. Industry change starts with whom we choose to go into business with.
Also since 2019, Equiply has partnered with Demeter, a Cambodia-based food and drinks company and maker of holistic herbal teas. Their product ethos, organic farming methods in a local school, and dedication to worker well-being are honourable qualities that makes them worthy of our marketing support.
OUR IMPACT GOALS
Ultimately, enacting change from both ends (consumer, manufacturer) will create a ‘meeting in the middle’, a win-win solution that exists at the point of equilibrium.
